Actress Holly Valance made a surprise appearance on British television, sharing some of her political views.
Holly, who is married to British billionaire property developer Nick Candy, revealed that she thinks “left-wing” ideas are “rubbish“.
“Everyone starts off as a leftist and then wakes up at some point after you start making money, working, trying to manage a business, trying to buy a house, and then you realize how rubbish all those ideas are. And then you move to the right,” said Valance.
Valance was interviewed by GB News while attending the conservative political event PopCon, launched by former Prime Minister Liz Truss, in London, where she lives with Candy and their two children.
The Australian actress and singer, now 40 years old, was also asked about her views on climate change, which she seemed to doubt, criticizing “all these restrictions on normal people”.
Valance’s husband, Candy, is a donor to the Conservative Party in the UK, and he is well connected to the political right.
